Thaba Eco Park is what makes Thaba Eco Hotel the incredible location that it is. Surrounding Thaba Eco Hotel, Kraal Restaurant, E|Bar and Sinzinani Spa is an incredible natural haven that we, and the hundreds of species of that call it home, know as our beloved Thaba Eco Park.
The word ‘eco’ finds its roots here in the Park, a location that is wholly dedicated to natural conservation, education, and the enjoyment of these incredible natural spaces that keep us grounded. ‘Eco’ defines everything we do and every element of the way we work.

Guided Nature Drive
At Thaba Eco Hotel, we offer 1.5-hour Guided Nature Drive, focusing on the local ecology, including biomes, trees, plants, animals, and their roles in the ecosystem.
Our Guided Nature Drive Experience costs R405 per person and is reserved for children over the age of 6.

Time Slots
Guided Nature Hike
Our Guided Nature Hike costs R175 per person and is reserved for children over the age of 6.

Bird Watching
A 3.5-hour Guided bird-watching drive with stops to explore flora, fauna, geology, archaeology, ecology, and history. Book in advance for our local Bird Expert.
Mountain Biking
Savour the beauty of Thaba Eco Park with exciting mountain biking trails. Thaba Trails offers a variety of different trail options for riders of varying skill levels. Visit the Thaba Trails Facebook Page to get in touch!
Please note that Thaba Trails is not situated at Thaba Eco Hotel and can instead be found on the other side of the mountain, at the Thaba Eco Village Lifestyle Centre.
